Berlin city centre alone has more than 200 km of navigable waterways. The Spree river flows through the city. With a boat, you can discover Berlin in a totally unique way.

The parliament building the Reichstag and the Kanzleramt, the offices of the German Chancellor, are located directly on the river and are easy to reach. From here, you pass by Friedrichstraße and Museum Island. You reach the Oberbaum Bridge via the Mühlendammschleuse lock. The Landwehrkanal leads back to the Spree at Charlottenburg via Kreuzberg and the Tiergarten.

Do you already know about New Venice? This unique city district lies east of the Müggelsee lake on the Müggelspree. A dense network of canals takes you through this idyllic residential area. Directly next to it are the Rüdersdorf waters with the romantic Löcknitz creek and the deep and clear Kalksee lake. Peace and quiet and unspoilt nature can be found here - but if you leave the jetty at Erkner and take the S-Bahn or city railway you can still reach Alexanderplatz in 45 minutes!
